Finally back to blogging after months. It’s been a while. College has been crazy wild! Friends, projects, stress all packed in one box. College REQUIRES adjustments. Not having enough sleep, getting too short breaks, endless stress stress stress… but after finishing the 1st semester, I think I proved to myself that all the pain was worth it. I was part of the Dean’s List and I couldn’t be any happier. This may mean nothing to some of you but it means a lot to me :) I’ve always wanted to achieve something in College since I wasn’t much of an achiever back in high school. And I think that this is it, the start of everything I really dreamed of. Great way to start December!

Hi. Hello. This is me blogging an hour before my class. My first day in college went great! We only had 1 subject instead of 2 and spent the rest of the day roaming around Taft. We also had a short orientation about cyber wellness, it was The great Fr. Stephen Cuyos who made the talk. He never fails to amaze me with his great powerpoints and catchy lines!

And that’s pretty much it!

Hey June.

My title sort of rhymes with The Beatles’ song Hey Jude, doesn’t it? Haha

Missed Bloggers United 5 today because it’s my lolo’s 1st year death anniversary. No words can explain how envy I am with the people who were able to go to BU5, you see my mom allowed me to go but my sched is such an antagonist.

Anyway, I still tried to dress up as if I’m off to the said event even if i’m a little too far from SMX.

Worst memory of June 1? Bad hair day.

My mom kept on telling me to do poses that are too awkward for my life! Hehe it’s so not me.

Wore something chill for a chill day.

And this is me being myself! Hahahoho

I hope this month brings abundant joy and less stress to everyone. :-)

Last friday (052413) I finally enrolled myself in St. Scho Manila. It took me 5 hours to finish the whole process. If it weren’t for meeting new friends and getting my schedule I would have ditched everything already because I was dying out of hunger and boredom!

Anyway, I’m taking up BS Psychology. (never imagined I’d end up taking this course) I’ve always wanted to take BS Speech Language Pathology but the only universities offering it are UST and UP and unfortunately I failed at both. So, after failing tests from the Big 4 I took more tests from schools like St. Scho, Benilde and I was also about to try in De La Salle Lipa but I already passed in the first 2 so I didn’t push through with it. Besides, I didn’t wanna spend more money and effort taking entrance tests. Ok enough with the long story.

I just hope I get along with people in here, not to mention the college is exclusive for girls therefore I think I’d have to expect meeting several bitchy bitches. Just the thought of the possible scenarios I might encounter with the freshies is killing me already but you know I’m really really really hoping for the best in everything. It’s just sad to know that the happiness I felt during my senior year is irreplaceable.

Best of luck to my co-freshmen! <3

The past week has been excessively exhausting for me, I was out almost everyday running errands for college but I’m back before my blog pursues a permanent hiatus!

Here’s another D.I.Y creation I did recently. It’s so useful and easy-to-achieve!

image

So, here are the things I used. A shoe box, colored paper (gift wrapper size), tape, empty tissue rolls.

image

image

First, I wrapped tape around the empty tissue rolls. It doesn’t have to be perfectly aligned or what as long as it’s strong enough to stand alone.

image

Next, I covered the shoe box with the colored paper. You can also use washi tapes or fabrics to cover the box, be creative as possible! The looks of the inside isn’t important, it’s the appearance of the outside that matters.

image

Then, fill in the empty tissue rolls inside the shoe box.

image

Then voila! An ordinary shoe box and recycled items turned into a pen ’s holder in an instant. It’s easy as ABC, right?

Tip: Leave a part of the box without empty tissue rolls so stuff like stapler, glue, protractors, etc. can also fit in!

image

We shouldn’t judge books by its cover, right? Well, I think we shouldn’t judge oreos by it’s coating too? kidding aside. I made wicked oreos with my mom and sister today. It may not be dainty-looking but you’ll have to think twice once you get to taste it.

And I’m sharing how we did it. Got the idea from an article in a candy mag (as seen in my previous post) and in a D.I.Y. account in instagram. This post is more likely to be a photodump, no phrases in between pictures because they’re all self-explanatory.

And tadaaa! Wicked Oreos. Finally got to try one, didn’t expect it be that sweet though but I’m definitely giving it not just one but two thumbs-up! :-)
